Working on the Sierra Eastside has innumerable challenges, and Bud was ready and prepared for all of them.

Bud has fantastic relationships with the county and the local trades. Which means that we had a fast track on permitting and inspections and we knew what to be on top of in design and permitting. The local subcontractors that work with Bud are loyal to him, they bent over backwards to prioritize our job because of their relationship with Bud--this kept our project on track and at budget.

Bud himself is equally loyal and exceptionally honest. He invested a massive amount of resources in our project on the front end (worth every penny to put him on a pre-construction service agreement) and he stuck to everything he said he was going to do. Bud could have easily let a ton of things slip through the cracks and let our project's budget bloat, but he watched out for everything from varying material costs to construction methods to deliver a great product that was right in line with our expense expectations. Bud was extremely transparent in billing, providing every receipt and accounting number down to the penny. We grew to trust Bud deeply.

Bud cares deeply about all the people he works with, from his clients to the subcontractors to our design team. He's always out on the front foot, ensuring that the relationships and the quality of the work are at a standard that exceeds expectations (he's very, very dialed into setting proper expectations).

I truly wish that all contractors had Bud's ethics of integrity, honesty, and effort. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bud and Sierra Summit again. Period.

Bud did an excellent job as general contractor on my home remodel in Bishop CA. The house I purchased was a former rental unit and need lots of work. New Roof, New lighting and electrical panel work, New plumbing of a bathroom, new gas lines, took down a wall to open up a room, all new tile and flooring, drywall repair and on.

Bud was able to get all the subcontractors in a timely fashion and high quality work. He was extra helpful with all the challenges that remodeling during a pandemic shutdown brought. He kept me up to date in all work and issue, a problem solver.
