I've been a customer for approximately 21 years at that time. I've never been late nor had my service disconnected because of my bill. However, in September of this year, we were selling our property and the month before, my water bill with up over $300 which we knew something was wrong since no one lived on the property. South Alabama Utilities called me about it because they noticed it being higher than it usuallly was, which is $14.05. With that being said, we found the leak that was causing the issue and immediately fixed it. They also said they would consider adjusting half if the next bill came down to normal. In the meantime, I had paid part of the bill as to be of good faith. The following bill did go down to normal but because we sold and closed on the property and had to disconnect so the new owners could put the water in their name they said they would not adjust any of it and also because I was waiting to see if the bill would have been adjusted they charged me a late fee any way, which I was told don't worry that it would be removed after they knew if the other was going to be adjusted or not. Well, that was a lie. Unfortunately, because there are no other water companies to choose from, the people are stuck with these greedy people. If anybody has a choice to put a well down verses going with city water, I strongly suggest you do. I'm very disappointed in this company. I'm just grateful I'll never have any more dealings with them.

I have left several voicemails to the engineer over the project to bring water to our street and two other times the nice ladies that answer the phone have left paper messages for him to reply.... And no reply after two plus months. I went to the office today and personally talked to the engineer and asked for him to find out and call me today. I will update when I get a reply.

Reported a water leak on 12/7/24 and as of 12/12/24 the leak still hasn’t been fixed. I keep calling trying to get this issue fixed but keep getting the round around. I’m really afraid that my water bill will be really high because of this company laziness.

Company closes three days a week. Had a water outage for at least 8hrs today with no public announcements. This Utility provider needs to get into this century with technology and communication. There was a lot of people in west Mobile that had no water all day today with no warning and no information of when services will resume. Call center for the company might as well been robots. No answers no information. Pathetic...

Water bill is due in 2 days. They turn my water off today and left the notice by the meter. Not on my door like they’re supposed to. I have a family to care for… I wouldn’t have been behind in the first place if they would’ve checked the meter a long time ago. I had a $14 water bill for a whole year. Never changed. All of a sudden oh your meter is bad and this is the new amount. Sky rocketed the bill. A $800 water bill 😕

They destroyed our road several times repairing their main waterlines, even broke limbs out of trees and left a mess, did not replace our asphalt filled with it with dirt and it washed out. Our meter was not working from the vibrations of fiber optic being put in .
