Little convenience store very much everything you need also have a meat section I found out that the owner of that store also raised cows and sale the fresh meat at that store. Great

This store has a great meat market and deli sandwiches. It's a great place for quick stop's, run and grab a beer and munchies or a few groceries for tonight's dinner. Everyone here is always super nice and very helpful. They are also a proud sponsor of our high school football team, the Sutter Huskies!

I am wondering there this one employee still work there and she looks Hispanic. It happens back in May of 2020. I remember there this one female employee who is a cash register. When I pay for my stuff I said thank you this cash register got snappy with me, "you said yes ma'm" and she get consider herself old school.

The reason why she got snappy with me because of my appearance. I actually look young enough to be a minor but I am actually 33 year old. I was 30 year old the first time I came to that grocery.

I felt really discriminated by the way how she talk to me and avoid eye contact like I am a child.

This historic site (formerly known as Munger's) has been a staple in the community for generations. In 2008, new business owners commandeered the shop. They revamped, remodeled, and restored the location, and it has been shining ever since.

Fun Fact: South Butte Market & Meats was a featured location in a 2012 pop music video.

Great store with a nice variety of food for a small town store. Employees are very nice and helpful. Owners are fantastic and strive to keep a clean friendly small town store atmosphere.

I was on my way to colusa coming from Gridley and I didn't want to go to sav mor or Walmart but I needed cake mix. I love taking the back roads and on my way I remembered there's a store in Sutter, it's not to big or small.. it's just right. They had what I needed plus excellent service. The cashier was awesome. This was about 5-6:30pm around that time. I recommend this store. They are GREAT

This market is a gem ! It is a great place to get hot fried chicken, as well as a variety of ready to eat items, fresh cut up fruit, potato & macaroni salads, etc. They have the highest quality meats around, with very competitive prices. They also make sandwiches to order. This store carries all the products you could need, saving you the 10 mile drive into Yuba City. The staff are friendly and professional. South Butte Market is very clean and the food is very fresh. Next time you pass through Sutter, be sure to stop and see for yourself!

Good when you are in a bind and can't or don't want to drive into town. Prices are high. Most times I've gone in there, employees are rude and/or patronizing. Have a MoneyGram setup but it's always down. Produce is terrible. Haven't tried the meat but it's pricey. But if you just need some milk and are willing to pay $$$ a gallon. Go for it.
