Review written on behalf of my elderly mom: In 2013 mom contracted Benjamin Souza to assess the failure of her homes foundation. Based on his assessment she took a ~$40,000 lien with the Town of Vernon (mom is income limited) to have the foundation support wall installed that Mr. Souza designed. In actuality, my mother's foundation had pyrrhotite and the entire foundation (including the one designed by Mr. Souza) needed replacement. After making Mr. Souza aware of this discrepancy he refused to reimburse her for his failed assessment. Before hiring him I strongly recommend you carefully consider Benjamin Souza's engineering skill and ethics.
