I visited early 2024. Pretty much what you would expect a good swap meet to be. Good food, some ok deals, lots of people and interesting characters, and even a little beer and food area near the entrance. I like how they have a big restroom area with plenty of toilets and urinals. My come-up was a headset that I got new but open box for $17 I think it was, when it was retailing on Amazon for $40+.

As a customer:
Dogs ? ? are allowed
Entrance is 1$ each person
Take a sun hat because is hot & sunny.
They sell food drinks.

As a seller:
wake up early .
My advice is to Have sell items ready a day before the day of sells & to bring some type of canopy for shade.
Saturday morning & Sunday morning are always good days to sell.
Sunday are always busy because on Sunday more people will be there buying.
Entrance fee for selling is 25$
Also bring someone to help you, that's way you can take turns using the bathroom , eating, and taking care of your sell items.

Swap Meets don't seem to exist anymore and this place was proof of that. It's easy to tell that the majority of the vendors are simply reselling merchandise they bought elsewhere at a substantial markup. There was nothing unique here, at least not today. All of the booths were pretty much the same and the variety was slim. If you don't mind killing some time and looking through goods you could easily buy at your local grocery store then you're in the right place.

Cover fee was a $1 which was nice, but what's the point of having numerous signs saying "no dogs" when dogs are all over the place? That's the only reason I didn't bring mine.

Lastly, beware of the food vendor in the upper right corner– it's a scam. I counted $7 and handed it to the cashier who told me it would be a ten minute wait. As soon as I walked away he called me back and told me I had shortchanged him and I needed to pay more money. I said I know I gave him $7 and he insisted that I only gave him $5. Didn't feel like arguing with him so I offered him more money. He consulted with someone and said 'don't worry about it.' And of course, as soon as I stepped out of line I saw him hand money to the man on his right who slipped it in his pocket while the rest went into the register. I didn't get my food as the wait went up from 10 to over 20 minutes. I was given my money back– short the $2, of course. This food vendor is a scam and I say, stay away.

It was our first time to go to the Spring Valley Swap Meet. We got to pay $1 each which isn't bad. Going there early there was plenty of parking available.

We entered into the lower west side entrance, and when we walked in we turned to the right to begin our walk through the maze. The majority of the people that we saw that were selling to begin with seem to be running their business by offering and reselling cleaning products, new clothing, plants in pots -- a lot of things we would buy from the 99 cent store with the price is being higher than we experience at the 99 cent store.

Having walk through every aisle getting to the end we recognize that when we entered we should have turned a left because it appeared that in the outskirts of the swap meet are all of the people with personal items had good prices and good quality used items.

We didn't leave empty-handed and enjoyed purchasing the items that were purchases of a great value.

Yep, we'll be going back again for another great and even more fulfilling swap meet adventure.

A long stretch of shops and you'll definitely take home some super affordable good and interesting finds.

Parking at #swapmeet is alright too. It is encouraged to come early so you can avoid the scorching heat of the sun and of course to get the first dibs.
