Julie was very sweet. I understood her clearly, she explained a couple things to me abd was kind enough to give me the county assessor’s office phone number.

The old man who checked us in was rude but the rest of the staff was nice. Whoever designed the building seems like a miserable person though. Very ugly interior and exterior and very little space in the lobby. Cash/check only too. Just another example of how Stanislaus County is slow to enter the 21st century.

My visit was normal just like every visit. There use to be a lady at a desk win you first walk in to help you. I was surprised its not there anymore that was a big help.

A clerk told my better half that she needed a real ID or passport to fly currently .He also told her that a passport card, can't be used in lieu of a Real ID. According to DHS and Department of State websites, are both false. The Real ID act becomes active on May 7, 2025, per Department of Homeland Security websie.

$28 dollars for a birth certificate isn't that bad if you want your important papers and whatever. If it was over $29 and up. No I will not pay. But $28 to get my birth certificate is worth it. I rather pay for that price if I really want my papers. If I don't want my papers I would be trying to find where I can get my papers.

Sent faxes and have confirmations but on line keeps saying they have not received paperwork. Left msgs no return calls. Very difficult to work with.

I came here from San Jose for Marrige certificate.
The staffs are nice and friendly very supportive.
My fiancé had called them first they didn’t pick up. But They called him back the next day. I called at 4:20- 4:25pm always have someone to answer.
We didn’t have to wait long to start paper work.
