Kevin Kirkland and his teams have done two major projects for my home.

The 1st one was practically rebuilding my entire interior of my house from the winter freeze in February 2021, because I was away from home and pipes burst in every room of my house. Ceilings collapsed in two rooms which had to be gutted completely and rebuilt from the concrete to the rafters. Sheetrock replacement in EVERY room. Required replacement of all my cabinetry in the kitchen and both bathrooms. All flooring was lost too due to laminate throughout the house. They restored my house like it was brand new, because basically it WAS! Kevin guided me through every step, and put me in touch with vendors for my selection on all materials and finishes.

The 2nd project was to restore the interior of my garage-port. Patio homes come with parking that has 2 open sides, and a previous owner of my house ripped out all the ceiling sheetrock and left it with exposed roof interior and ceiling rafters. I also had rotten trim on the exterior of the garage door opening. I selected new paint and house numbers, and Kevin's team had the job completed beautifully in just 2 days work. He even ran an additional electrical line to gate side of the garage structure so I can add another security light for both sides of my garage and driveway. (I just purchased the new lights and they will be installed next week.)

Kevin Kirkland is the man I know I can trust with repairs and restoration for my home. He and his teams do exceptional work with respect and professionalism. He has a team for ANY repair, restoration, or remodeling project you may need. I already have gotten quotes for 3 more jobs in the future. He has turned my disasters into delights.

Our experience with Star and its owner Kevin was very positive. Choosing a contractor is a difficult process and we had several come out to give a bid. Kevin, the owner, did not try to pressure the sale or oversell us. He is professional, knowledgeable and most important, he is ALWAYS available and accountable. When any issue occurred, Kevin was responsive and willing to discuss whatever solution was necessary. We are so thankful we found an honest contractor who actually takes pride in his work and cares about integrity.

All of his crews worked quickly and efficiently, even in our tough Texas heat. They took the time to clean up when done and it is clear they care about their workmanship.

I highly recommend Kevin and his company for any project. He is a jack of all trades.

Biggest mistake of our life was hiring Star Construction and Remodeling to work in our home. All the work he has performed is having to be redone. He tiled the kitchen and bathroom floors badly and did not level the concrete before starting work the tiles are uneven and sunken in places. When we pointed this out, he was defensive and hostile towards us. He later attempted to try and level them unsuccessfully and told us this is the best he could do.

The hard wood floors did look nice at first, although we were unhappy with the amount of glue left on the surface of the wood which until this day we cannot remove. All the wood has now buckled and cupped beyond belief in every single room.

I would not recommend Star Construction and Remodeling to work on your home unless you want to pour money down the drain and cause yourself a lot of distress dealing with this man. They takes no responsibility for his poor workmanship
