At one time Stew’s was really special. We’ve been going for about 50 years - and seems many changes and reinventions.

Recently we’ve noticed a watered down awareness of its brand.

The coffee bar once surrounded by bags of coffee by the beginning of the bakery area - has been consigned to a side alley of self help machine by a bakery that seems to ever so common. No more chocolate crackle meringue cookies - I guess no more nuts - and it seems to be no more better than Wegman’s or Dave’s, or a local bakery and in Westport there are a few.

Asides have been open with folks going ever which way. The staff isn’t that helpful as once they were.

It seems to have been mainstreamed, becoming conventional, while losing its special quality. Sad. All eras come to an end.

That only my view, our view, from our perspective. It’s big. That’s about it.

I always go to get coffee here, it’s fresh and delicious, they have plenty of different options and flavors. Also they have a lot of breads, donuts, cookies, deli counter, dairy products, and fruits and vegetables section. I love this store !

An amazing shopping experience with the best burgers out front and taste testing along the grocery cart paths. We pressed every button and laughed at the staff's antics to keep us entertained . A very family kid friendly adventure!

The grocery store is pretty wild, like a theme park for food. The kids enjoyed the goats and all the little buttons you press for noises.

I came here for the “best burger” sign. I’d say this was one of the best priced combo, you really can’t beat $11 for a burger, fries and coke. However, that was not a smash burger, it was very average burger without any taste. The guys working were really nice, but need a lesson in burger making.

Fun place to visit, they just need to change the burger sign😂

Stopped in on visit to Connecticut on November 18th and purchased a few items to take back south with us. This included a crumb cake. Must say the crumb cake was just awful dry and had absolutely no flavor. The piece we cut along with the rest of the cake is now in the trash. Honestly a Drakes Coffee cake would have been a better choice.

Definitely smaller than some other locations I have been too but has the same concept walking around the store and very fresh fruit and veggies to pick from. I love the smell walking past the bread!
