We couldn’t be more happy with Stewart-Schafer’s recent renovations to our home. Christine and James’ design and creative skills are spectacular, and the results to our kitchen, living room and extended living spaces exceeded our expectations.

Their creativity, professionalism and attention to detail throughout the process were impressive. From our initial discussions about our goals for the space -- (light, view, storage, airflow, etc), they nailed a design that met all of our objectives, balancing tasteful and creative touches with underlying functionality. The architectural drawings were meticulous. Throughout the initial design process, they guided us through the final selections of all the materials, including marble, flooring and appliances. Christine and James have a great team of suppliers and contractors, and of particular note, the craftmanship of the millwork team is outstanding.

We hired Stewart-Schafer for their design and architectural skills, but just as impressive was their seamless management of the overall project. James and Christine made the process as painless as possible, managing all aspects from start to finish -- coordinating the team of contractors and specialists, managing the schedule, ordering materials, handling deliveries, and deftly managing any surprises along the way. Throughout the process, Christine and James gave us the feeling that they cared about the project like it was their own space, and the results showed. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.
