I called a few weeks ago to arrange a tour of the facility and was told I didn't need a appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted by Tyler. He showed me around including the dining room which was decorated for Easter/spring. There were activities going on with patients and staff. There were happy sounds in the building. Not only are activities in the dining room but they also have a very nice activity room which leads to an outdoor enclosed porch. The lobby was very inviting , the building smelled fresh.
Today, I stopped by to drop off the paperwork for my husband, Scott the administrator stepped into the office as I was asking for clarification on a document, he offered to step in and assist in obtain what was needed.
I'm feeling so comfortable about having my husband at Sun City Post Acute for respite while I'm resting, finding my joy again and filling my cup so that I can care for him again when he comes home.

Moved my Mom out of SCPA yesterday so she could be with my Dad....Mom has spent a considerable amount of time there as a recovering resident and it was with mixed emotions that we transferred her to another facility because THE TEAM at SCPA has been amazing. Scott and his team are compassionate, caring and always put the resident + family first. We will miss Bea, Darla, Lucy, Shay, Sabrina and all the others as they made my Mom's stay as good as it could possibly be....the team at SCPA has become like family to us which is the highest possible rating I could give!!!

My husband had been in the hospital for 17 days!
Sun City Post Acutel and Savior Hospice got me in to see this facility and transported my Husband from the hospital to their facilities all in one day! I was able to talk with hospice and the Sun City Acute Facility Management was wonderful. They explained everything and made this awful decision we sometimes have to make- so much easier. Your peace of mind at this time is what they are all about! I can’t thank you enough!

Today I also have good news! This Savior Hospice has helped me so much I am so thankful that I chose them instead of Hospice of the Valley.
They HOV were so slow on trying to get Gene out of the Hispital and trying to find me a hospice facility. The lady from Hospice of the Valley told me she was so busy and could not show me anything until 4 pm- then she asked me what could I afford as far as a group home facility I said what did you ask Meanwhile The Hospital wanted Gene out. I told Hospice of the Valley I did not want them to show me anything and I did not need their services! I hung up and called Savior Hospice who had been calling to help me. I hesitated at first as Hospice of the Valley was a non profit while Savior a for profit told me they would come talk with me or show me what their facility was. They would hold my hand and walk me through everything . So I chose Savior and boy am I glad I did!!!!!!
Savior and Sun City Acute Facillity got Gene out of the Hospital last night and to their Hospice facility the same day! They took Gene in and made him comfortable and wanted! The manager Scott asked me if Gene was a Vet and I told them yes he was. I had talked to the VA and they were sending me through a maze of work plus Gene would be put in their hospital downtown Phoenix. I just dismissed this decision and moved on.
Scott in the Sun City Acute Center and new Savior facility took it upon themselves to get Gene approved for full payment by the VA. For a full 90 days and more if needed! Wow what a shock when they called me this afternoon to tell Gene had been approved through the Va! All this was done without me having to do anything! I cannot thank Savior Hospice enough for what they did for Gene’s comfort and our security!

Gene is much more comfortable in the hospice facility Sun City. He is regaining some of his senses and that is comforting. He even got to speak to his son Keith, his granddaughter Katie and his 3 Great Grand Children today. Wonderful to see that smile again. I was there until 9 tonight. I left him in his own clothes which made him so happy! Such a little thing makes a difference!
God Bless you all for your caring and continued prayers! He has not walked in 16 days now and they are going to see if they can get him on his feet! I’m probably dreaming but I will take anything I can get!

From the front door all the way into the memory wing, the staff were friendly and helpful. Her name escapes me but she’s the one with the stellar red short hair. Absolute rockstar. When I went to exit the wing, she said there was an exit fee so when I asked her to go to dinner with me, she let me immediately 🤣 still waiting on an answer about dinner though…

Sun City post acute is taking care of my mother-in-law who has medical and some behavioral issues right now. All of the nurses and staff have been so patient and truly show that they care. The food is amazing and the facility is clean. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great care for their loved one.

I just wanted to thank the staff at Sun City Post Acute for taking great care of my father-in-law, James Houser! He was in great hands! Taryn, the unit manager was amazing at keeping us updated. She’s all heart!
My father in law was always clean, the staff was attentive and always made sure he ate. He was safe. All the staff was great! I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for him.
He’s not the only one that has experienced this. Other family members have shared with me the same experience.

My grandmother stayed there for 2 weeks while recovering after being discharged from the hospital. She attended physical teraphy daily, which helped her recover faster. The rooms and restrooms where kept clean and the staff was nice and attentive. It did not take long for staff to respond to room call ligths. We have tried other rehab centers in the past but this is by far the best one she has been in.
