Needed a quick fix for a remodel project. They did it spot on for a donation. Took less than 10 minutes. Keep in mind this is a volunteer, hobby club and not a regular business, so don't be expecting people to jump when you bark. Remember, a little patience and politeness goes a long way.

This club does take on some projects from non-members. A friend of mine just moved to Sun city was was really excited about this place. Tthey charge for the amount of metal used at the price they get it for and have "volunteers" that do projects. I checked steel prices with a small shop down the street from me and they were about 2/3 the price per foot. The club "volunteer" may charge for the work. I signed a work order for cutting up some 3"x3" angle iron. After two weeks I found out they didn't have one thickness I wanted. After more than a month I found they didn't have the second size either. I talked to a guy named "Greg" who knew how the place operated and actually checked stock. He said if you don't hear from them in a week chances are your project won't be done. About every person answering the phone gives a different story-can't find work order, they can't order "volunteers" to do the work or it will be done a a short period we will call you back. If you have an artsy project you may be in luck otherwise Greg recommended Industrial Metal Supply which is where this place gets its metal. This place has really nice metal artwork hanging on the walls so they can do really nice work.
