Terrible place. Phone check-in has not worked for a long time, you need to go further to the trailer where the check-out is. You cannot check-in earlier than 1 hour before your appointment. There are about 40 trucks waiting in the parking lot!. Get ready to stand around 1-4 hours waiting for the door and the same amount before loading. There is delicious and inexpensive Mexican food right next to the parking lot. Good luck everyone and avoid this place.

Whenever you come to the tailor farm, make sure that what time is your appointment because sometimes they turn the light red, sometimes green. They waste a lot of time and it has been 36 hours for us and they have not yet loaded it. When we go to them they tell us that your turn will come after the 10th truck, but our turn does not come. Then we go and then they say that 36 more hours have passed for us, so whoever wants to come here, bring your food etc. it may take 2 to 3 nights here. Otherwise know the broker and tell the dispatcher that we will not go because it is worst prime here.

Place is soooo busy!
It seems chaotic and dysfunctional, but considering the amount of traffic it gets and the volume of produce it pushes out, one can't really complain.
There are days that have a serious wait and others that will get you into a dock when you check-in.
Yuma is far better and organized than Salinas.

Easy check in, parking might get a little hectic but you can get creative without hassle. Overnight parking if needed. Couple lunch trucks come through. You can check in early and they'll call you for a door when they're ready.

It's a typical cooler in this area. If they have the product you could be in and out in a couple hours, if they don't or are hammered.. well 12 hrs plus isn't unheard of, come prepared.

They wouldn't check me in more than an hour before appointment but took my number and said they'd check me in when the time came. The shipping clerk was very polite and friendly.

The check in phone looks like it's been broken since the 70's ... just check in at the shipping office.

Food carts and portipotties available

There is a decent amount of parking and there are quite a few places one could park along the side roads in the area if in a pinch. There is a loves about 1.5 miles down the frontage road, but you'd have to be pretty lucky to find a spot there

Slowwww, but have overnight parking and food trucks on site. Don't miss your appt. They can hold you hostage all day, but if you're late for your appt as if they're on time, they'll make you reschedule your appt!!

We have been at Tyler Farm for 36 hours. Let them come for 36 hours and make noise for all the drivers not to come here. Come and if anyone wants to come, talk to your dispatcher and your broker, because there will be no solution for food and drink here. At 36 36 hours, it will take two or two nights. Make noise, bring your food etc.
