Several years ago I bought a mahogany GSmini; what a fantastic guitar! Despite the size, the warm tone and surprizing lows are amazing. It's my travel buddy everywhere I go! Recently, the "taylor" on the neck began rubbing off (likely due to a too-tight tuner).
I contacted their service department and was BLOWN AWAY by their customer service! Randy and their team were quick to respond, went above and beyond... they replaced the sticker, detailed it, checked/repaired the nut/bridge, and shipped it back. I've always adored Taylor guitars for their qulaity workmanship. Now I'll be a life long Taylor player due to their fantastic customer service.
A+ experience, they stand by their products!

The showroom is amazing! You can try any guitar and the staff are super friendly.
If you can take the tour, only available on Fridays. The tour is terrific. Learning the manufacturing process and the attention to detail makes it clear why Taylor guitars are number one. Google the ebony project to appreciate the forward looking nature of the company.

My AD12e-sb is the best sounding guitar that I've ever played, I love it. Before purchasing it, I compared it to instruments from other manufacturers, some costing two to three times more. It surpassed all of them. The guitar isn't as easy to play as my old Fender acoustic, but it feels comfortable.

However, the finish on the guitar is a little sloppy, and I didn't receive the best service from Taylor. (The guitar initially didn't come with a case, and it took quite a bit of work to obtain one. Although it was brand new, it wasn't setup. I paid guitar center to set it up and unfortunately, they sanded down the saddle and also scratched the guitar.
Next, I took it to a Taylor authorized repair center for a setup, and they damaged the pickup by removing the saddle incorrectly, so now I do my own setups.)

That being said, I recommend Taylor. They did make the best guitar I've ever played. And their service is likely on par with other manufacturers.

I am incredibly thankful to be lucky enough to own a Taylor guitar! The craftsmanship and material quality is excellent, and the playability and tone can’t be beat. I was choosing between a Martin and this Grand Pacific 717 Builders Edition Taylor, and I believe I made the right choice!

Great tour!
We joined the 1:00 p.m. group tour. And we had a fantastic time! Unfortunately, we forgot the name of our tour guide, now, he was really brilliant! His genuine passion for guitar, music and Taylor is a big part of the experience we’ve had there!
The tour takes you through the different steps and processes of the El Cajón factory and explains how to build a Taylor guitar. It mixes high technology machinery and highly skilled craftsmen... truly interesting!
Note that it is only available during weekdays

If you haven't been here and you're a guitar fan, you have to stop by. They have a fantastic visitor center where you can actually play some of the guitars.
