Josh came highly recommended thru a family member. He came and gave us a bid for a mantle on a Saturday. Well here it is Sunday and it's already installed! Very professional and talented! Would highly recommend Josh for any work you may need. I finally have a mantle to hang my Christmas stocking on! Thank you Josh!

We hired Building Bridges to build a custom fridge surround to match prefab cabinets we already had and they matched them perfectly.

We also had them design and build cabinets for a small laundry room with stacked washer/dryer and pull out laundry under the counter.

Lastly, we had them build custom corner shelves for our kitchen and another little nook area.

Everything is beautiful and really elevated the look of our house!

Building bridges? More like burning bridges!!!
Things started off ok. Josh and Cheri seemed pleasant. We decided to trust and have faith in a small , local family business. Our mistake. We negotiated a price and put our deposit down in February . The project started in June. Since the beginning after we paid are deposit Cheri never once contacted us to be put on the schedule. We did all of the phone calls and messaging to make sure we were on the schedule because people that work and have families need to be organized and plan ahead. To foresee a date when you know work will be getting done. Seems perfectly reasonable. I asked Cheri to create a schedule. It was never, ever kept. We continued to have to reach out to them to be put out on the schedule. But remained optimistic.Josh claimed everything was built and ready months before the project started. Numerous amounts of times josh would be very late, cancel last minute or only work for a couple of hours when we were told he would work in 6 hour blocks so we worked our schedule around what we were told. I cancelled plans, vacations, my husband stayed home from work on some days just so we could make ourselves available only to have minimal amount of work to get done ( if he actually showed up). They apologized and we said we understand things happen and sometimes things need to be rescheduled etc. basically being reasonable and patient clients. Cheri reached out to us regarding the finishing work payment ( after already paying over $20000). I told her we aren’t paying anything else until the job is done. There are a ton of mistakes! Like big mistakes. By the time we reached month 4 our patience started thinning. As soon as we expressed concern Cheri’s attitude completely changed. They started blowing us off. We offered a proposition that we could get estimates from other companies to finish the job if they wanted it off of their hands judging by the lack of effort, compassion they started showing. Her response was to state they will not be finishing any of the work. Obviously we were/are very upset by this. Our island wrap is absolutely awful. It’s embarrassing. Josh promised he would fix it. There also also big chucks of baseboards missing, along with other cosmetic and functional pieces. We paid money for a paper towel drawer that we never received. They told us they would refund us for that. It never happened . We also have an appliance garage that we paid $750 for that we do not have. We threatened to take them to small claims if we didn’t receive our items ( appliance garage, shelves, dividers above our refrigerator). We even told them they don’t even need to come face to face with us. To please leave them on our front porch. They are completely ghosting us. Won’t respond to calls, texts or emails. We got 3 estimates from 3 different companies and for the finishing work and to completely redo our island ( that’s how bad it is) it will cost us thousands of dollars. Josh joked with us before about how she works at a law firm so Cheri knows how to snake around these issues and shut clients down. This behavior is just completely despicable . She is really manipulative. She lied in emails about events and statements that never happened and makes you feel like you are the problem. They definitely hold you hostage with the way they handle their business once you give them your money. Beware of this. If you express frustration or concern they take it personally and give excuses rather than solutions. I would at the very least like the items we paid for to help finish the job with another company. Huge mistake trusting them. Guaranteed Cheri will respond to this with a very PC response. If she tries to prove you other wise I have documented all of the ignored and missed texts/phone calls, emails and photos of how they left my home. Feel free to reach out to me with an email and I will happily provide photos etc. Good luck to whoever chooses to use this company. I hope this doesn’t happen to you! I want justice!

Our project consisted of two sets of custom bifold closet doors. Building Bridges was able to source the wood to match our cabinets, design the doors, build them and install them. The doors are perfect and we couldn't be happier. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent as was the service we received. I will be calling on Building Bridges for future projects.

Cheri and Josh were wonderful to work with. Josh made a custom banquette for my kitchen to add seating. It was just what I envisioned. Great quality and customer service.
