Our local daily newspaper, The Iola Register, has been in business since 1867..... I am celebrating my 81st year and the Register has been at my parent's house and at my house all 81 years. At a time when newspapers are struggling, our Iola Register continues to print five days a week. Probably my favorite part is the great pictures of every happening in our communities. The other really important part is the great coverage of local sports, business and politics. If you read our paper, you always know what's going on!! Our family is so grateful for the Iola Register newspaper!!
