Amazing customer service! I bought several fans from them and waited months to install them. Once it was time to install, I realized that there was a small manufacturing defect in two of the fans that prevented proper installation. I feared that because it was months later, I'd have no recourse to get the problem fixed. But I immediately heard back from The Modern Fan Company w/ a sincere apology and a complete replacement. They didn't even make me send the original fans back before sending out the corrected replacements. They trusted me to return them once the new ones were installed. That's like the best-case scenario for customer service in the internet age. I was so impressed.

Side note: The fans themselves are gorgeous, quiet and powerful!

I’m very disappointed in my Ball fan. Despite being installed and then reinstalled professionally it vibrates and hums incessantly during use. It also lacks some of the convenience features on the remote that the much lower priced competing models at Lowe’s or Home Depot have. The design is nice but the performance, especially for the cost, is extremely sub par.

Great Customer Support! Trouble shooting your own fans is vital - but The Modern Fan’s Melissa is a broad technical support wizard, and in spite of the fact that Amazon gave me the support number to a manufacturer that did not in fact make my fan, Melissa had no problem troubleshooting, diagnosing, and in fact helping fix the problem. As it turns out, your fan needs to be moving in order to change direction. So just reiterate, fan, moving, change direction. Sort of like driving forward before you shift into reverse, it’s a bit counterintuitive, but Melissa knew that and walked me through it and now my non-modern fan fan is happily humming along in the right direction. Be sure your next fan is Modern.

Modern Fan produces high-quality fans with the most stylish designs, but the thing I like about them the most is their customer service. They are a relatively small company and they focus on product quality and customer care. I have bought 5 fans from them and over 10 years, I have only had 1 problem with 1 of the fans. Melissa and Steve were both very helpful in sending out the replacement parts and walking me through what to do. I would definitely buy fans from this company again.

Unbelievable customer service and 'limited warranty'! When my Altus flush stainless steel fan developed a low hum, I contacted Modern Fan Co. I was led through a remote analysis of the problem by Melissa and she determined that the problem was in the motor of the fan. As my heart sunk, she added that it was covered under the limited warranty!!!! Within 3 days, I received the new motor housing and my fan is perfect again. This fan is a primary fixture in my great room and people always ask me where I purchased it. I'll never buy another ceiling fan from a big box store again. Utterly amazing. I am a VERY happy consumer!

So impressed by this company. I recently decided to buy a ceiling fan and really spent time looking at various companies and fans. The design is beautiful and even more so in person with the Torsion fan I ended up with. Gorgeous design, and great quality. I called customer service yesterday with questions about wiring, and Melissa helped me over the phone. Very thorough help and excellent customer service. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a ceiling fan.

I purchased the GUSTO CEILING FAN in 2013 (over five years ago!). I love love love this fan, and have since the day it was installed! It's modern, sleek, unique, and ultra quiet. The fan is solid and very well made. Why am I finally writing a review? Well, I called The Modern Fan Company customer service today as the hand held remote, and thus the fan, stopped working. Melissa answered the call (on the second ring!) and was super helpful and knowledgeable. Instead of selling me a new remote, she patiently walked me thru resetting/reprogramming the fan's receiver to see of that would correct the issue. And in less than five minutes, we had the fan working again! No new remote needed. There has been some severe weather and short power outages lately, and it's possible these may have caused the receiver to get out of synch with the remote. In any case, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Modern Fan Company for their HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS and EXTRAORDINARY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Bought three fans from an online distirbutor, one had a funny knocking noise, Modern Fan helped me troubleshoot promptly and when that didn't fix it they send me a replacement fan promptly which solved the issues. Love there style and service was great, going to order a few more fans to repalce cheap builder grade.
