I luckily found Tom Simko and his sons (a family-owned business) after discovering a longstanding and very serious leak from a pipe in my wall. The walls in my kitchen and living room on one entire side of my house had to be torn out, dried out, and closed up. They handled the restoration of my walls being sure to match the wall texture and paint color. In the process, they added electrical outlets, installed a built-in fireplace, and hung a new tv. They left my house looking much better than it did before the leak. Mr Simko is also talented at designing interiors.
His 2 sons did all the restoration work. In 2 days, they were in and out. I can't say enough about the quality of the work. They are focused, serious, highly skilled, well-mannered hard-workers. They showed-up and stopped on time, they were organized, they paid a lot of attention to detail and cleaned up afterwards each day they were there. I found them to be communicative, helpful and respectful of me and my property. Just basically good people you feel totally comfortable having in your home. I'm so glad I found them at such a stressful time right here in Gold Canyon. I'm happy with the results and would not hesitate to use them again.

The Problem Solver was professional, arrived when he said he would, moved the furniture, hung plastic around the ceiling work area to contain any dust, and did a fantastic job. You absolutely can’t tell what portion of the ceiling was repaired. Once finished they cleaned everything up, moved the furniture back and went on their way. I highly recommend the Problem Solver.

Unfortunately I needed The Problem Solver a second time when we had a water leak under our kitchen sink. This is our winter home so we were not there. Tom came in, evaluated the situation and let us know he could handle the repairs without tearing out the kitchen cabinets. He went right to work getting things cleared out and getting fans on it. Long story short he got everything dried out and put a new base under the sink that now slopes forward so any future water leaks will be discovered right away. He also put new veneer over the damaged area. It looks like it never happened. He sent us photos and kept us in the loop throughout the process. This guy is very professional. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I am pleased to share my review of The Problem Solver and his team. From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive, professional, and efficient in their work. When I first contacted them about my cabinetry issue, they were quick to schedule a visit to assess the problem and provide recommendations for repair.

They were able to come up with a plan that not only addressed the issue but also improved the functionality of the cabinets. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they took the time to explain their process every step of the way.

During the repair, they were respectful of my home and took great care to ensure that the work area was clean and organized. They were able to patch the drywall seamlessly, and the added caulking around the cabinets' ceiling area gave the space a more polished look.

Tom Simko was great to work with on our remodel project. He was responsive to questions and concerns, easy to reach and quick to respond. I knew I could count on him for any issues that came up. Tom had a number of contractors that work with him and I couldn’t recommend them more, they did an awesome job! They showed up on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do. In a word-EXCELLENT! The problem we had was to repair and refurbish large wooden garage doors for a 5 car garage that were sun damaged, rotting , warping and leaking around the seals. We called The Problem Solvers and had a callback within 2 hours, an appointment the next day for assessment and plan development and 8 days later we had fabulous garage doors plus two refurbished gates. STRONG POINTS- professional appearance and attitude, knowledge and experience, excellent communication skills(we were kept in the loop daily, more when required),teamwork by everyone on the job,never late, kept a clean work site whether on or off the job for the day, job completion on time. Recently we became aware of a local company here in Gold Canyon named the The Problem Solver. The owners of the company are Thomas and Nancy Simko and their sons, Trevor and Nathan Simko. Since meeting him, he and his sons have repaired a ceiling drywall leak in our garage, fixed the doors in the storage area in the garage and made the doors look great. Thomas and his sons also removed old electronics in the family room ceiling, repaired the drywall and made the ceiling look like new. Now they are installing cabinets and shelves in the laundry room and giving the laundry room a whole new look. They also refurbishing the gate into the backyard. They also replaced the lights to LED cans in the bathrooms, laundry room, and bedrooms giving a new look to those areas.
