The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station was an amazing wedding venue. I had the please of photographing a wedding this past fall there and it was beautiful. Taking night time photos in under the outdoor ceremony spot came out amazing. The staff was amazing, and treated all the guests and wedding vendors on the day with top notch respect. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam is a wonderful venue to make your dream wedding come true! The staff, particularly Hattie, Lauren, Kelly and Loretta, were wonderful to work with. On the day of our wedding, Robert was instrumental in helping to make our day run as smoothly as possible and he was extremely attentive. The food was outstanding, and everyone is still raving about how delicious everything was, from hors d'oeuvres to dessert. Our only criticism regarding the dessert is that the wedding cake was sliced too thinly, and we ended up taking home two tiers of the cake. We were also supposed to have cupcakes for those with allergies (gluten free and peanut free) and they were not served. Other than these minor issues, we can truly attest that our wedding was a wonderful event and exceeded our expectations.

The BEST venue with the BEST staff we could have ever asked for. Not only was everything beautiful but they made sure our day was as perfect as possible. I always wanted somewhere we could at least have pictures by the water- it ended up being perfect for our first look without the price of waterfront. We loved how much was included in the package instead of feeling like everything was an “add on” like other venues we saw. Lauren & Kelley were so helpful and accommodating in the planning process. Loretta was so sweet and a calming presence as our helpful bridal attendant. Rob deserves so much credit for everything running so seamlessly- multiple people commented on how great he was keeping everything in order running around to meet all our needs. Food was amazing too! Hands down would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We are eternally grateful for this place and for all the wonderful staff for the perfect day!

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Riverhouse At Goodspeed Station this past weekend. It is absolutely amazing! The staff, and in particular Holly, were so helpful to not only myself, but they also did everything they could to make sure the couple had an amazing day. The venue is incredible and has many places that are great for taking some creative photos. I am looking forward to working with and photographing more wedding here!!

My wife and I just got married at the River House. We couldn't be happier. The food, the service, and the staff were all exceptional. If you have the pleasure to work with Hattie, Loretta, and Rob, consider yourself very fortunate. They were the DREAM team when it came to planning and running our wedding. They guided us through the process with so much professionalism. We felt so relaxed throughout the day, knowing we had them to lead the way. If you're looking for a place to get married, you won't go wrong with the River House.

I attended a wedding here last month, and for a venue in Connecticut, it was so much more than what I hoped. I would’ve given 5 stars if not for the fact that there was a pasta station but no utensils, but Dennis (strapping young lad) took care of that real quick. Food - great. Service - exceptional.

We toured lots of wedding venues around CT and The Riverhouse checked everything and more off our wants list. They did a wonderful job guiding us through the whole wedding process from paperwork to be filled out to offering a fantastic menu tasting! They were very responsive with emails and understanding when we had to change a few things last minute. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding night as the food / drinks were amazing. Rob / Loretta made sure the whole day went smooth and were super accommodating throughout the night! We would 100% recommend The Riverhouse for your wedding day!
