Stopped in today for lunch and WOW! I would say I might have had the BEST hamburger ever! The fries were delicious and this place is SO COOL!

I'd definitely recommend stopping in here. I can't wait to come back.

There's plenty of seating and be prepared to wait a bit for your food, but... It's WORTH IT!

First time coming to this establishment and didn’t not know there was no seating. I brought the whole family, 11 of us ROFL!! Little bit about the Upper Cut they farm their own animals and the feed that feeds their animals so they know how to take care of their meats!! They’re a butcher shop first and foremost and restaurant second. Service was phenomenal food was gorgeous and the portions are HUGE!! Recommend sharing. We had the #8 BBB burger which had three patties and brisket cheese and clogged arteries 🤣. The next thing we tried was the highly recommended #10 prime time so a French dip and I would steal from my grandma to get this sandwich!! We also had the brisket queso’s fries and #3 smoked turkey. All their foods are pulled high with meats! One thing and this was the only thing I did not like besides not on site seating was the bread got really soggy quick! They do have a new place with limited seating so I do recommend eating on site and not to go! The #8 I rate 6/10; too much meat for my taste. The #3 9/10 my mother said it was the best. And finally the #10 I give this 12/10. This was the best French dip I’ve ever had!!! So for the Upper Cut I’d rate this restaurant 8.6/10 and I’d tell all my friends and family to come eat and order my meats from there!

We drove 30 minutes to come to The Upper Cut KC for lunch last week, and let me tell you that it was worth every second of that drive.
The food was out of this world, SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!! Everything we ordered was incredible. The food was so good that I completely forgot to take photos during this visit but next time I won't forget and will update my review.

Had the opportunity to meet Mariah (owner), and she was an absolute delight to talk to. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about meats. We can't wait to go back.

I've been seeing all kinds of posts on Facebook, both by patrons and the business themselves. So, of course, I was intrigued! My husband and I were tossing around ideas for dinner last night, and I mentioned what about The Upper Cut? So we decided to go there for dinner and check it out. Man! This place has the meats! The guy who took our order was very nice and super helpful. He made some recommendations and explained some of the dishes to us. My husband ordered the Jalapeño Popper Cheeseburger with a side of pork shots. I ordered the Aka-strami with a side of beer cheese fries. It took them less than 15 minutes to have our order ready. We dined in. The woman who gave us our order wanted to be sure our fries were nice and hot. We sat and began to eat our sandwiches, and then a couple minutes later, she brought our fries to our table. The food was all so delicious and just the right temperature! The Aka-strami had a delicious sauce similar to 1000 Island but different, and i really enjoyed it. The meat was Akaushi beef pastrami and was piled on! There was a nice amount of meat and it tasted really good. I only ate half there was so much! The bread did get a little soggy, especially on the bottom slice. My husband makes an amazing pastrami sandwich, and this came very close to his. In fact, I dont often order pastrami because im often disappointed. If they squeeze the liquid out of the sauerkraut, I'm sure that would solve the soggy bread. It definitely did not beat my hubby's homemade pastrami but comes in close! The beer cheese fries were humongous! The fries were delicious. The beer cheese was nice and hot and flavorful. The Jalapeño Popper Cheeseburger had two wagyu steak patties, sauce, cheese, and Jalapeño poppers on it. I could barely get it in my mouth it was so big! All the flavors of that burger merged together so nicely and was delicious. The pork shots were delicious, too. Those are pork sausage and cheese blend surrounded by a slice of bacon. Those were delicious! The food may look expensive, but you definitely can taste the quality and creativeness in it, so in my opinion, it's well worth it! The portion sizes are big also. Of course, they also have all kinds of meats, cheeses, and other goodies you can buy to take home and make. We will definitely be back. Our dogs made it obvious that we did leave smelling like a butcher shop, so we might have to go back and get them some of their dog bones.

I love this shop! The owner is extremely knowledgeable and kind. The beef is amazing! The quality and cut of meats is outstanding. My family loves everything we’ve tried. From the ground beef, burgers, to steaks it has all been incredible! It is hands down the best steak I have ever had. The bacon is incredible as well. I also purchase eggs from here, and I appreciate that I can get quality eggs from local suppliers.

Saw this on Facebook post of Burger places in KC to eat at, so I took my wife and son a drive to their new location in Liberty. Butcher shop that sells sandwiches was definitely a first for us. Quality of meat most assuredly why the sandwich and side are $19.99 each, except the lobster at $29.99 (maybe next time). Got the dog a bone, Triple B for me, The Kelce for the Boy (we split snd shared) and the Smoky Turkey for Momma. Deli-like generous portions of meat that tasted great. Will have to rate the others on the video for taste versus cost! Enjoy your food travel adventures!

Very very good. Just be prepared to wait for your food. No big deal, just know before you go. Great friendly service as well. Fries oh my they are awesome. The uppercut burger outstanding, I added bacon and caramelized onions. I wouldn’t add the onions again. They were great just to messy for me. A must go to place.

Most impressive menu considering this is a meat shop. Food is exquisite! Biggest servings and ALWAYS fresh. The staff is amazing & willing to help in any way possible. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly highly recommend. Be sure to go hungry - the pictures of the food items are exactly what you get. No trick photography. The butcher shop is tip top top of the line. You just can’t go wrong in any way with The Upper Cut KC.
