North entrance to the seaport museum.

Museum itself is really great. It feels like you are lost in a historical sail town.

A lot of ships which you can explore, a lot of buildings where you can get touch with the history, a lot of fun activities for kids.

The museum even has a small planetarium (which requires additional tickets for the shows), a cruise which was very informative (and you need to buy additional tickets as well) and a small lighthouse with a very nice video list.

This building is part of the Mystic Seaport Museum grounds. It is a small but spacious place to hold a good sized venue. We visited yesterday to see the last day the J.M.W. Turner Watercolors From Tate exhibit was shown. Crowds were manageable with maybe a fifteen minute wait to get in. Outside, visitors could look at historic replicas of town buildings and clipper ships.

Very accessable, simple layout, convenient parking. Saw the Turner watercolor show, so beautiful. Monday through Wednesday is less expensive than the rest of the week.

Nice modern exhibition building of the Mystic Seaport. It is the main building to be used as a main entrance and exhibit the main attractions of the museum. Beautiful lay out.
