I had the best experience with Thompson Saw Mill. At first, it took me over a year to look for were to rip my lumbers from. I continued to search and barely did I know that 30minutes away from me was this awesome place that solves all my timber problems. I had the flexibility to see and take part in the stripping of the beams and Thompson was a great and friendly buddy besides doing the many great stuff is his work shop.
I would highly recommend this place for all your woodwork and mechanical problems.

Chance and his family are awesome. His family business was perfect for rebuilding my one of kind trailer. Chance was instrumental throughout the entire process. I called and made an appointment to get some wood trimmed down. When I arrived Chance told me I probably didn’t have enough wood to do the project I wanted. He cut my wood for me and threw in a bunch of old stuff he had laying around. Chance done an excellent job getting me started. I can’t say enough good about this guy. He is truly a wonderful businessman. I recommend him highly. I will be using him for all my wood projects in the future.

It is extremely rare in this world to meet and essentially do business w/ someone who is fair, honest and has a high level of integrity as the owner (Chance) has. I drove 1hr 9min to get there and not only did I get what I needed for some upcoming jobs, I received better than originally planned. Chance went above and beyond in customer care. Took up diy and some woodworking as a hobby during the pandemic. Box stores weren't reasonable prices for hobby boards and I saw this pop up on Google Maps. Gave him a call and he told me to come out. Tons of material for a hobbyist like me and he even planed and ran the boards through the jointer while we were pulling them and absolutely love the grain on them. Got tons to keep me busy and looking forward to my next trip. Prices unbeatable and can't stop staring at the grain on the boards.

Took in some logs to be milled and couldn’t have been happier with the outcome and high level of service received. In todays world… high service, integrity and a hard working skillset are just hard to come by… The owner, Chance, is the complete package and it was a great experience. Other’s reviews brought me here as someone new to having wood milled and I promise - you won’t be disappointed!
