Troublesome Meat Processing took care of my first elk. It was small one and was quartered when i brought it in... But it was ready within 24 hours. Awesome experience. It took me a week to pick up, but they were understanding. Took great care of my animal, and vacuum packed everything. I can't wait till next year to bring them something bigger!

Last week Mitch was nice enough to meet us on Labor Day so we could get my buddys elk in the cooler. They had it all processed by friday when we were heading home. Everything was packaged and labeled very nice, the price was very reasonable and the staff was all polite and nice to talk to! I will definitely use troublesome meat processing in the future.

I have used these guys off and on, depending on where I'm hunting, for over 30 years. I was very happy to get to use them this elk season, especially when contrasted to my experience with "city" game processors this archery season. They are reasonably priced, personable, and flexible. Though it's less convenient to run back up the hill to pick up, i believe that inconvenience is offset by the quality, value, and friendliness of this crew. Very pleased with my yields, the packaging, and the cleanliness. Highly recommend.

These guys do a great job at a fair price. When I have time, I usually process my own game. I've had bad experiences with other processers so generally dtay away from them. I took an elk to Troublesome this year as a test and was extremely impressed with the quality and turnaround time. Will definitely use them again.

I brought these guys a 6x6 herd bull back in November. They did a great job and offered a bunch of different cuts. I was going to some "community grind" meat processor in Denver. They sucked... If you live and hunt up here and bring your meat to Denver, something is wrong with you. Glad I came to my senses. I'll use these guys again for sure. Great hard-working family operation out here in the American West.

Really bad experience. Took 3 months to get our elk back and numerous phone calls to see why we had not gotten our meat back. We're given a different excuse everytime we called and were assured on numerous occasions that it would ship by the end of the week. We were told that on at least 4 separate occasions. Once our elk finally arrived it was poorly packaged and half way thawed upon arrival because they shipped it USPS instead of 2 day FedEx like we agreed on. Again they had excuses for everything. But at the end of the day when you tell someone repeatedly that you are going to do something and you do not that's called lying.

Third year in a row going to Mitch. Elk archery, we bring it in in bags and Mitch makes it beautiful. Great guy. Great attitude. Great end product. He keeps improving and making a better result when it was perfectly fine before. I don't know what else I can say but thank you Mitch. I cannot imagine how he could do any better job. Great guys, sportsmen who understand how important your animal is to you. You bring in good clean meat and you'll be surprised how much you get in packages. Meat was beautifully packaged and labeled. I've been here twice and would recommend these guys to anyone. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Mitch.
