One of the first stops we made on my trip to Philly was Uncle Gus’ Steaks. I had been planning to go to Angelo’s but when I found out this was a 5 minute walk from my hotel and owned by Angelo’s as well as other legends I just had to have it.

This cheesesteak was the best I’ve ever had. The ribeye was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. I got the cooper sharp with onions and the amount of cheese and onions was absolutely perfect. The bread was flaky and toasty, had a perfect amount of chew to it. It was loaded to the brim with steak.

I absolutely suggest you go here and try one of the best cheesesteaks you will ever have. I don’t know how it could get better.

Amazing cheesesteak that lived up to the hype 🙌 Perfectly toasted Angelo's roll housing the steak. Meat was well seasoned with caramelized onions. We got extra cheese on ours, Cooper Sharp. Cherry peppers on the side for the right amount of kick. Highly recommend! 👌 Our best cheesesteak we have ever had! 5 🌟

Absolutely perfect!!! They were literally bringing in fresh baked bread while we were ordering. This is a combination of giants- Sarcone, Angelo’s and DiNics. And it is everything you would hope for.

We got cooper sharp - with.

Super fast service.

Great steaks in the heart of the Reading Terminal Market. Seeded rolls, thick sliced beef, steam melted cheese and topped with more meat. Off shoot of the famous Angelo's so I've heard. $15 plain $17 with cheese.

Odee Valid, great staff had the cheesesteak with Cooper sharp cheese and added long hot peppers, light mayo on a sesame roll. Odee fire will definitely come back.

Perfectly toasted, seeded roll from Angelo's.
Cooper sharp that was well distributed throughout. Sautéed onions added a subtle note to enhance the tender meat.
The meat could have been chopped a little better. It's the only thing keeping it from a 5 star review.

I mean, it's really good. Top tier in the city and that's saying a lot. Not 100% Angelo's, but close. Same bread, but maybe too much Cooper Sharp and not enough onions. Still, can't fault this and the location is just super convenient. Proceed with full confidence!
