I had a leak in my wall and filed a claim with my insurance company. I want to say this is my first experience with a water leak. My agent gave me the name of Vet Cor to call on Thursday morning. I called them and they came out to my home. I asked them should I wait to have them come out until the plumber comes and he said no that a lot of times they will cut and find and fix the leak. I said ok and they sent 2 guys out to my home. Once they arrived the tech said they will not cut into the drywall that they do not do that and would have to wait until the plumber comes and does his work. Anyway the tech installed a moisture remover that pulls moisture from the air just in case and said they would not be able to come back until Monday. The machine did not work correctly and only came on twice. When the plumber came out he said it could not wait for water mitigation until Monday due to it being Cat 3 water and that someone needed to come out there right away. My husband called Vet Cor and cancelled with them and asked them to come and pick up their machine within 2 hours of them leaving my home and told them we were going with another company. He said no problem they would come pick up the 1 moisture machine in the morning. When the tech arrived the next afternoon Friday he said we owed them $275.00 for the moisture machine and the technicians time. I have no problem paying for services due but that seems a little over the top and pricy to have done NOTHiNG but a install a moisture machine that did not even work. People should know that these type of companies typically only deal with the Insurance Company for payment. I am very disappointed in the dealing with this company and people should know not to allow them to put a machine in their home especially if they do not do any cuts or quotes first because if you change your mind which you should have a right to do they are going to charge you an outrageous price for Nothing!! I learned a great lesson today!

I also called my Agent and she was also concerned in the fact they charged me $275.00. I hope my Insurance Company will reimburse me for the $275.00.
