@ David Cable-I have to agree with the other reviews. I'm not from Alabama. Just going through. I called 11 times and the phone rang until it went to busy signal. This was from 8:30am -8:56am. Called back to the customer service line to see if they can give me any assistance. At 8:57am they told me that the courts don't open until 8:30am. The math don't add up. I get it. The phone lines be on GO. But you have to realize people are calling to make sure they don't get warrants because they can't show in court or etc... To be fined more because the clerks wont answer the calls. Have a call center

This court is not trustworthy since they make you go to jury duty and pay you whatever they want. They “ miscalculated “ from my wife the round trip mileage of two days of attendance and only gave a portion of the first day, even though she clearly corrected them while they made the check in front of her. If they don’t even follow payment laws, what can you expect from their “cases”.

Susan Odom has been harassing my elderly mother with dementia for some time now over less than $5000 my mother doesn't even remember. I hope Susan Odom doesn't have family, she's honestly a horrible excuse of a human. My mom can't even remember who her husband is and this Susan Odom woman won't stop harassing her. Susan Odom is a disgusting woman.

Well I called the clerks office today and so got a lady named Susan Odom on the phone and was the rudest lady I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! I had to call back 3 different times because the lady kept on hanging up on me and was continuously over talking me giving no help whatsoever! Our Public Servants are there for just that! To help!!! This lady also told me she had been working there 30 years and that is a shame on Walker County's behalf! I can only imagine how she has treated some people trying to get help!!! I will be posting her pictures and position in order for other people to know who they are dealing with and what not to expect from this lady!!!!

I couldn’t tell you the lady I spoke with because she would not say- she was in the domestic relations dept. I received a letter in the mail from Montgomery and was told to call the circuit clerk office. She was very ugly to me, not helpful at all. I run my own office and yes, it does get hectic but there is absolutely no reason to be ugly to someone for no reason. No excuse for that.

It's almost impossible to reach anyone on the phone at this office. When you finally do reach someone (which has only happened 3 times in 2 weeks of calling every day on every hour) you will likely speak to the same lady that I spoke with on these 3 occasions. If you do speak to this same lady, she is very rude, very unprofessional, and does not seem to want to fulfill the job requirements that she is there to fill. I have dealt with different circuit court clerks in different counties and have never had any problems obtaining the information I was seeking. This office has provided me with 3 different answers to my inquiries. Upon politely requesting information on someone else that could possibly help me in obtaining the information I am seeking, I am told that I need to figure it out on my own. I am not being paid by Walker County to find case information, and I do not appreciate being told by someone who is on their payroll to perform their job duties. I hope this information is helpful to anyone else who has the misfortune of dealing with this clerks office.

Asked for information and received it immediately from a very nice young man named Nick. Answered on the 1st ring. I'm sure that isn't always the case, but if you've never worked in an office, you don't understand how hectic it can get. I'm sure nobody else can do any better. If you believe that you can do a better job, then apply for the position and see how long you last. I'm sure nobody will take me up on this, so I'm not worried. And NO! I am not affiliated with nor related to anyone who works for or with Walker County in any capacity.
