I would've given 5 stars since the process o¹was very easy, there was a short wait, and the security gentleman at the front was very friendly and sweet, but the lady that was working the license counter (on 4/12) was so unnecessarily rude. I was incredibly polite and friendly throughout the entire interaction, but she seemed miserable and like she was annoyed that I was there. When she looked down at my license she scrunched her face up into a very nasty look, like she was judging me or something. She made the entire interaction very tense and uncomfortable. When I went to pay I realized I had exact change so I began gathering it up and she snapped "Do NOT give me 6 pennies. Just give me the dollars and I'll give you the change." Which was incredibly rude even without the condescending tone. If you take cash then I should be able to pay however I want. Her negative attitude honestly ruined the entire experience.

Extremely inept group of people . They first said my pontoon boat was reported stolen , when I went to renew the sticker . Called the state police and found that that , was a lie , they then said that they entered the h.i.n. wrongly , years ago and was my responsibility to take a picture of the h.i.n.plate and prove my boats h.i.n. number to them . I told them I couldn't find the plate and maybe it was on the command center that we replaced and they immediately locked down the boats side number and reported it to Montgomery to not issue any sticker until an inspector /investigator assigned a new h.i.n. ....I found the h.i.n. finally , it was a stamp , not a plate , which they refused to honor or look at the picture of the legal stamped h.i.n. I went to the Fayette court house , they removed walker counties block on it , looked at my photo of it . Corrected the h.i.n. that walker misentered got me a 2024 sticker ...took them 10 minutes to do.... Never register a boat with the walker co. D.m.v.

I just called & was laughing so hard, I realized @ that moment I can laugh again. I don't know her name, but I thank you. I've dealth with Rick Allison over 20 yrs. Never had a complaint against the office employees.

This place doesn't know how to pick up a phone. I literally called 8 times in one day, and no answer at all. Been waiting for almost a week for them to approve my insurance so I can renew my registration online because I'm out of state. This place is slow and the few times I have called and gotten an answer in the past they were rude and very unhelpful. If i could do it, this place wouldn't even get a one star rating.

Very rude, went inside to speak to someone about transferring and registering my vehicles. Lady treated me stupidly, as I asked my questions on the steps on how to do so. This isn't the first time either.

Called twice in one day and each time was faced with different County representatives. Both times I was faced with a "disrespectful, grumpy, annoyed" type of attitude. Don't like dealing with people? Then go work somewhere else but don't let it our on us, the community.
