Amazing sourdough bread that tasted like real sourdough and the only bread that doesn’t upset my stomach after eating too much of it. They are delicious toasted and dipped in olive oil with salt. I am glad they came to the union square farmers market in nyc.

I don't understand any of the negative reviews. One of the best bakeries I have been to in Norwalk and not just for their crazy delicious monkey bread but also because of the customer service. Super friendly staff and they offer wonderful suggestions. Price is on par with the quality offered. Highly recommend.

Wave Hill Bread emerges as a gem for those in pursuit of artisanal breads and pastries, channeling the essence of a quaint European bakery into every loaf and scone. The bakery shines particularly bright with its pumpernickel baguette and blueberry scone. The pumpernickel baguette, a true artisan's creation, boasts a dark, slightly crisp crust that beautifully complements its soft, flavor-rich interior. Made with rye flour, its depth of flavor turns each bite into a delightful experience, whether savored alone, as part of a sandwich, or alongside cheese. The blueberry scone is a marvel of moist, fluffy pastry, bursting with the sweetness of blueberries in every tender bite, setting a high standard for what a scone should be.

Beyond these standout offerings, Wave Hill Bread distinguishes itself with a dedication to quality and craftsmanship evident in every product. From airy baguettes to indulgent pastries, the bakery’s assortment caters to all tastes, ensuring there’s something to satisfy every palate. The passion of the bakers is palpable, using only the finest ingredients and traditional methods to create baked goods that are not just consumed, but experienced. Coupled with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff, a visit to Wave Hill Bread promises not only a treat for the taste buds but a memorable journey into the heart of artisan baking.

I love Wave HIll breads and have been buying for years. But the recent price hikes are just offensive - $9 for semolina bread and $6 for an almond croissant? You developed your reputation for excellence for fair prices and incredible baked goods. It is truly absurd the prices changes you've taken recently. I'll sadly take my business elsewhere.

As good as everything is here, unfortunately, the service needs to match the product. After waiting ten minutes for two simple large black coffees, we were told they had run out and they had to brew more. We had already gotten our pastries, and we expected to get our coffee to have with them, not 20 mintues later! And there had been no one in front of us, so if we had been given our coffee right away, they may not have run out, and someone should be keeping an eye on that to begin with to make sure it does not run out. Why would you wait until it runs out to brew more coffee? We walked out. More attention has to be paid to the front of the establishment, and who is responsible for what task, and they need to be organized. A friend of mine told me that she went a couple of weeks ago, and the exact same thing happened to her with the coffee, that she was kept waiting and never got it, and had to remind them about it even though others had come in and were ordering and receiving theirs, and she was still waiting.
