Carnation Washington’s 1985 Whelen WPS-2808 & 1993 Whelen WPS-2803’s have lasted their whole life sound great but will unfortunately be deactivated October 18th 2023. Those things sound insane though & I love the old Analog ESC-864 tones. It’d be cool if you could bring back those tones

I watched a video on You tube about the Whelen company and the town police chief. Jerry Maslan is a disgrace to the this company (in picture). The actual reason for these videos is to show the citizens how their employees interact with the public and to expose corruption.

I LOVE Whelen sirens. I own a 1988 Whelen WPS-3000 model that of course uses a ESC-864 Analog controller and my gosh, they sure are amazing. As for their current products, I think they do a great job trying the be the best electronic siren manufacture in the united states. Whelens definitely sound better and are a better choice than Federal Signal's electronic sirens for example. Compared to the standard Hz level that is set at 850 Hz on Federal Signals Ultravoice controllers compared to Whelen's controllers which are set standard at 560 Hz, they seem like they take better pride into sirens than the more common Federal Signal sirens. Plus, because Whelens use 400 watt speaker drivers while FS just uses a bunch of 100 watt speaker drivers, why go through all the complication when you can just simply use bigger and better drivers while at the same time being louder and not needed as many parts or objects needed for a single warning siren? A Federal Signal Modulator can get as much as 32 100 watt speaker drivers (4 each cell) while Whelens on the other hand go as high as 10 400 watt speaker drivers and at the same time is louder and more easily audible from a distance as well as up-close. Whelen, you people are amazing. Keep up the good works. 🙂

Frank’s LLC has been using Whelen since 1992 and would never use any other! Their lighting products are unbeatable. Even after being offered by a competing company, free of charge to outfit some of my wreckers, Frank’s declined, just to give testimony of how stellar this company and their products are.
