Flew up from Mesa, AZ to take some photos of the crater just west of the airport. Brad, Mirna and Winston were very helpful. Very friendly FBO and good gas prices. Great stop.

We ate at Romos Grill. It is excellent! The kidz got to watch a plane take off. Great atmosphere and great food!

On September 22nd 2023 my husband had a heart attack and had to be airlifted to Flagstaff. The flight crew were amazing and when they were putting my husband in the helicopter he asked the man, "are we Going to fit in there"? And the man said, " Oh it's about like a fiat but we'll fit". That made my husband ? laugh.

I've only stopped here for fuel twice, about 5 years apart, but both times it was a really friendly FBO (Wiseman Aviation) and some nice conversations. Not far at all from downtown Winslow, highly recommended for a stopover in the area.

Excellent service. Beautiful authentic FBO building. Crew car if 10 gallons purchased.
Flew over Meteor and Rhoden craters as well as Great falls on Little Colorado river.
Great stopover spot.

Awesome assistance. Well quite a few years ago my son needed some long distance flight time. I told him I would ride with him when he got his IFR. That chance came and I was in Winslow but not until 4am were we going to be able to take off. The two young guys and one girlfriend who were starting up the airport at that time stayed with me until my son came to town. These guys fueled the plane and kept the fire going in the fireplace even though it was freezing outside. I never wrote them a thank you letter like I should and not sure if they are still there. I want to say It was a favor like no other kinda like when someone changes your tire in the rain. Thanks and I hope all is well.

Will not let medical crews in the FBO, not very well kept grounds. I hear the restaurant is really good !!!
