From the first encounter with the folks at Wrought Iron Works to the final installation of our railings, my husband and I were extremely pleased. A very professional company who operate in a timely fashion, actually get back to you within 24 hours every time you email them with questions and are the nicest people to work with from design to installation. The rails rhey installed on two new stairs on new addition and patio are beautiful. The installers were meticulous and professional. They even painted the rails a second coat after installation. Everything from design installation was perfect. Very happy with this company. It was a pleasure.

My dear wife and I are very happy with the outcome of this project. I have delayed the installation of railings for quite some time, notably because I could not tolerate the generic production railings that are typically available. They do the functional job but really lack design intent and character. I happened to come across Wrought Iron works while performing an online seach. At once, I saw individuality and craft, elements lacking from just about all alternative options. It took some time after Romer first came to our home, had to save for this project, but it was worth every penny. We went theough all of the details at their showroom. We discussed finishes and final design. The installation team was so professional. I am a professional designer; I am quite critical about fit and finish, I would give them and A+ for final design and installation. Excellent materials coupled with artistic design.

I have a 120 foot wrought iron fence that runs along one side of my yard. It was neglected for many years and became totally rusted all along the top and bottom.

I called Wrought Iron Works in West Hartford, CT to come and take a look at the fence. I was told that one of their specialties was restoration. They felt they could restore my fence to its original luster without having to replace the fence, saving me a lot of money.

I decided to hire Wrought Iron Works and have no regrets, nothing but high praise. The office staff was very accomadating in giving you the start date of the project and arrival times of the crew each day.

The two man crew they sent were master craftsmen. They hand sanded the rust on every inch of the 120 foot fence. Then they used a power sander to smooth everything out. They decided to put two coats of primer on the fence because it runs alongside a major roadway that gets heavily salted in the winter. They finished off with a beautiful coat of satin black paint. My rusting fence was transformed from an eyesore into a thing of beauty. You would swear it was a totally new fence.

The crew on this project showed great professionalism, a strong dedicated work ethic, and a desire for perfection. A special thanks and appreciation to them.

I highly recommend Wrought Iron Works for all your wrought iron needs. If I could rank them higher than 5 stars, I would give them 10 stars. This comes from a very, very, very happy customer.

I’ve had this king size wrought iron headboard for at least 25 years and was sad when I couldn’t use it with my new queen size mattress. I was hesitant at first, but Romer assured me they could modify the headboard to a queen size without losing any of the beautiful features. Thank you so much you guys did an amazing job.
