We have had an ongoing problem with a previously installed drain system that was collapsed and clogged. His team came out pretty quickly to assess and temporarily fix the problem. He agreed to come back and do the permanent work of replacing and running the drain to an area where it would drain freely. Then I never heard from him again. That was at least two months ago. I called about a month ago to confirm that they were still planning on doing the job. Tom assured me that they were but they had become quite busy and didn't consider my project in emergency. After waiting another 4 weeks I gave up and contracted with someone else. He may not consider it an emergency but when we have standing stagnant water up to a foot deep in our driveway every time it rains I consider it more urgent. When we have to drive our cars through it or our dogs have to walk through it not to mention visitors are unable to reach our front door without wading through water that smells and looks like something died in it, I would consider that an emergency that shouldn't take 2 months to get around to.
Had Tom reached out to us even once to explain why he was taking so long or even to confirm that we were still on his list it might have made a difference but he did not seem to remember or give our issue any consideration.
